I have lost all the weight I am going to and now need to find a good Plastic Surgeon in Alabama. I live in West Alabama (Demopolis). Can anyone suggest someone and give me information on them, i. e., insurance, etc.  I don't know what email they have on the website but you can reach me at [email protected] Would appreciate all suggestions.....

If you have already had the tummy tuck did the insurance pay for any of it? Were there guidelines you had to go through before you had it done? I don't know anything about this...

I used Dr. Siedel in Cullman. He is fantastic. My insurance denied me twice but the third time was the charm. I went every month for six months with skin fold infection and my PC documented it and they paid everything but my $100 co-pay. He took off 18 pounds of skin.
Good luck. Miss Mary

Dr Ross Bunch in Tuscaloosa Alabama.  He is super nice and the prices are reasonable.  Blue Cross denied me because my tummy needs to hang to my pubic area and mine doesnt.  He has a website www.plasticsurgeryinc.com  There are some other ladies on here that have used him and recommended him to me.

Dr. Rumley, www.rumleycenter.com in Gadsden.  I'd seen 2 other surgeons, one in B'ham, one in Anniston, and neither had success in getting BCBS to pay.  Saw Dr. Rumley & 2 wks later, I had approval.
Whoever you choose to see, be sure you ask them about their office visit costs - I got stuck with a bill for $310 with one PS.  I paid my co-pay, thinking Blue Cross would pick up the rest.  However, they denied the procedure, so that meant they didn't pay for the office visit.
There's more info about my experience on my profile.  Good Luck!!

I paid my $75 co pay.  Blue cross only pays for 1 mammogram betweeen the ages of 35 and 40.  I had one when i just turned 35.  So i paid for this one that Dr. Bunch required and it cost me $180.   Thats okay.

I just thru that in there because im having implants and they require you to have a mammogram before doing breast surgery.
