I've been getting B12 injections once a month since surgery at the doctors office.  My B12 levels are still not where they need to be so I was instructed to start doing once a week injections at home.

For those that give themselves these injections where on your body have you had the best luck?

Thanks as always,
Heather

Heather I do them in the thigh when I have given my own. I have talked to other nurses that give their own and they do them in the arm and hip. Make sure you use the 1 inch needle so that it will go deep enough. Do not use the insulin or TB needles not long enough. Hope this helps.

Hmm i think they are the insulin needles.  The wrapper says 3ml 25G 5/8
Are those the right ones?

You really need to try and get the 1inch. If you have not opened them maybe you can swap the 5/8 inch for the 1 inch. I have found that the pharmacy will just give you anything. B12 needs to be given deep in the muscle.
