Whatcha'll cookin' this weekend???

I'm not cooking ANYTHING~  We have been so blessed by our church these past few days.  They knew we had lots of company coming in a staying with us, so they brought over tons of food.  My sister in law's church and neighborhood cooked for everyone at their house, but our church cooked for our family.  We've got casseroles, chicken, a HUGE meat and cheese tray, with all the fixin's for sandwiches, cakes pies, tea, drinks....you name it, we've got it, so we are set for the weekend.  Did I tell ya'll how BLESSED we are?  I've never seen a church do this before for extended family like this.  To us, Patty wasn't extended family, but you know other than the Mother, father, children inlaws kinda deal.  They sent us a beautiful potted plant as well to the funeral home.  We truly have a wonderful church family.

So, what are ya'll cooking this weekend?

Not sure what we're having for "real" food yet...but I've got some SF Apple Butter cooking in the crock pot.  Should be ready about midnight.  It smells soooooooo good in my house right now!!!!!!

We had leftover red beans & rice for lunch.  For supper we will have country ribs, baked beans & brocolli casserole (i'm having a craving for it).    Tomorrow we will have chicken & cheese nachos and I'm quite sure leftover brocolli casserole (unless I can talk Lindy into coming & getting the rest of it). 

I am sorry for your family's loss.  You have my deepest sympathy.

You call em country ribs, I call em pork fingers. Looks like we are having a similar meal this evening. That broccoli casserole sounds great!

We are having bbq'd pork fingers, baked beans and potatoe salad. The potatoe salad is made and in the fridge getting cold. The baked beans will be in the oven by 4:30 pm and the pork will be on the grill around 5:00 pm.

I have no idea of what I will cook for dinner.  My 2 boys have had me running with soccer games and baseball games.  We just got home a little bit ago.  My husband is at work so he missed out.  I need to clean my house because next weekend my family is throwing me a birthday party.  My birthday was yesterday, but since Frank had to work all weekend long he decided on next weekend.  Anyway, I have to get my house cleaned because I won't have time next Saturday since my 2 boys has 3 games that day.  Ok, I am just talking away, sorry.  My life has been total chaos lately.  Your grandson is so cute.  I will have to post a picture of my 3 grandsons.  2 of them are twins.  I can't seem to get to load on here.  Hopefully I will figure it out.

Loretta I am so sorry About your SIL

I think i will boycott cooking at my home this weekend and let the family fend for theirselves. I know i know i am lazy but it is the weekend and i don't wanna cook

Ok, I survived Chuck E. Cheese today....I don't hafta cook.  If ya don't want PB&J, order it out and deal with it.  Can ya tell I've got ATTITUDE!!!!  I will say that tomorrow (Sunday) is always "grill out night" and it's special for Morgan to help Frank with the grill.  We'll be having steaks and veggies. Frank is trying to eat low carb.

This evening we are having a stuffed pork loin, stir fry veggies and corn on the cob.  Loretta, please accept my deepest sympathy.  I'm so sorry to hear of your SIL's passing.
