To Answer Your Question
It appears a member or two have questioned my reasons for posting on the Alabama Board. I have received more than 1 e-mail asking what right I had to post as this was a weight loss support board and I have not had weight loss surgery and do not live in Alabama.
To answer your question as you were not kind enough to sign your G-Mail other than "interested to know". I am married to one of your board members. I have followed your journey's through her for 7 years. Although I may have never met most of you I hear your names and know your stories.
This board is not just a support system for weight loss. It is a support system for friends going through many avenues of their lives. If it were only for weight loss support then 95% of the posts would not be posted. You would not have the morning coffee talk, laugh of the day or the inspirational posts so many need. You would not have the hugs or hear of births, deaths or weddings. All these things make up a support board.
Who am I? I am a supporter of people that need a hug, a kind word, a laugh and praise when they lose a pound and support when they have not lost weight at all. Flame me, flog me, hug me or kick me. That is who I am.

Mr. Fisherman, I know who you are and want you to know that you should not pay any attention to the posts you have received being rude to you!!! You are welcome to post on this board and more than that you are wanted!!! I can't wait to meet you in person and had plans to come your way this summer but somehow the summer ended before it got started. We are still coming to see you and our most special lady. I feel confident in saying this is the feelings of the majority of the Bama Board. And that is what counts!!!
Hi I am not from AL either, but I had my surgery in Anniston, Al. So I read & post on both the AL & the GA board. I also look at several other states. Have posted on others also. Just find them interesting. I have never read where you need to be from AL to either read or post on this group. Thanks & glad that you are here.

Good afternoon southernfisherman. I for one can say that I am proud to call your better half one of my friends. I have so enjoyed the times that I have got to spend with her and hope to be able to spend more time. You have as much right to post as anybody as you have someone that you love that has gone thru the surgery. Like you said 95% of the post are not even weight loss related.
Hey Fisherman. I have an idea of who you belong to and you are MORE than welcome to post here anytime you like. My hubby also follows everyone on here and asks about different people all the time. He just doesn't post on here. Well, he has before under my name when I was too sick early out to post a question. He posted it for me. Anyway...We are all one big family and you are just as much a part of that family whether you've had surgery or not. I appreciate your interest in our successes.... Come on here anytime you want.........
