Saturday Coffee Talk...LONG

Good morning everyone!  I hope you slept as good as I did.  I slept a full 7 hours!!  I had to help set up and decorate last night for a wedding that will be held at our church today for a young lady that I have known, vacationed with, and she has even lived with Joie and I at one point in her life.  I am catering this wedding today and I am not asking for your pitty, but I sure could use your prayers today.  My body (esp. my legs) are aching and I am beat!  My legs and body just can't hold up like they use to.  At one point last night, I found my brain telling my legs to move and they actually didn't for a split second.  This is too much for me.  Enough whining!  LOL  I did it to myself.  LOL 

My sister sure could use your prayers today too.  She is in the eye of hurricane Ike right now and I haven't heard from her.  They are still in a fema trailer as they rebuild their home that Rita destroyed 3 years ago.  ALL of these people need our prayers.  So much going on.  There is the gas prices and even a train collison in CA where many are dead and injured.  My heart goes out to all of them. 

So, on a cheery note, I leave tomorrow night or Monday morning (depends on if I get a na*****t LOL) to go to Minnesota to move Lucy!!  YAY!!  I can't wait until she and her belongings are in ALABAMA FOR GOOD!! 

SO, who's up!?  LOL  What cha sipping on?  I'm LOVING me some Boca Java Blueberry coffee this morning.  This stuff is AWESOME!  If you love flavored coffee, you'd love this one!  It is so good.  Only thing missing is you!

Also praying for your sister and that Ike will NOT do any further damage than has alredy been done and people will be able to move forward in their lives and get back on track!

Gas is ridiculous here.  Most stations are out and the highest I've seen it here is $4.61 and I'm sure it's even more than that by now.  There were at least 30 cars in line at Sam's yesterday when I was there.

I DID get the packages!!  I posted a thank you and OH WOW!!  YOU BLEW MY MIND!  I can't wait for Lucy to get here and see them.  I told her I just HAD to open them and she wanted me to describe them.  Dixie, OMGOSH!  THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!  The colors are the MOST PERFECT colors to match everything!  You'll have to come see them!! 

Luverne has NO GAS at ALL!!  One place shot up to $4.65 a gallon when they realized they were the last ones with gas.  They quickly shot down to $3.99 when they were told the Atty. General's office had been called to them.  The Atty. General however was told by one man that we weren't at a state of emergency at that point and there was nothing they could do for price gouging.   WHAT??!! 

I'm praying for all this stuff that is going on.  God is a faithful God and I know He will see EVERYONE through as He always does!!

Sorry I missed the post!!! I'm a little behind and trying to play catch up this morning.   It's been a very STRESSFUL week for me.  I won't go into details but I've been to 3 different doctors/tests this week.  I know you're busy but if you could spare a small prayers I would be thankful and YES, God is a faithful God and will see us all through our despair.

Love you too and give Ms. Lucy a hug for me when you see her.  I'll get to give her my own in a couple of weeks! :)

Father God, I ask that you touch my friend, Dixie.  I ask that you minister your grace and healing to her body.  Give her the strength that she needs Lord.  I ask that you touch her family, Scott and Dylan.  You see the needs they have in their lives.  Meet ALL their needs God.  I know you are able and I believe in FAITH that you will do this!  In your Son's name we pray.  Amen.

Hey Dixie,
Just wanted to let you know that you are in my prayers too.  Dylan is getting to be such a big boy.  I can't believe how much he has grown.

Thanks for the prayers Becky.  I do appreciate any and all. 

Dylan has and is bringing so much more to my life than I could ever have imagined.  He is growing like a weed, more like a beautiful plant that I just LOVE watering & nurturing!
