Thanks Randall. Mike has turned in his retirement papers & when & if they approve them, he is really leaning towards the Ft. Rucker area.
I did not appreciate the alabama folks when we were there. I could not wait to leave alabama! Now that I have what I so desperately wanted, I keep hearing the song Unanswered Prayers.. I would love to be back in Alabama & have the support I so need. We don't have that here, the people are so cold & rude. I also thought I couldn't wait to go "home". After being away & not seeing my family for almost 2 years, I see the meaning of "home". It's with Mike, not my family, who seems to of put us on a back burner!
My sister is not happy with me, that I "let" Braden join the Army. HA! LET??? He is soooo proud! I have NEVER seen him so excited or proud of ANYTHING!

WOO HOO!! You have made my day! I'm praying that Mike gets those papers SOON and that you are back HOME where you both belong! We miss you Bonnie! You are so right about home! You tell Braden that I AM SO PROUD OF HIM and FOR HIM!! What an awesome thing to do! KUDOS BRADEN!! Let? HA is right!!

Hey Bonnie Lou! I just wanted to say Hello! It has been so long!!! Hope you are doing well. I was just reading your post and it brought back a lot of memories for me. It took me a long time to realize that my family was right here beside me and NOT back in Tennessee. Please tell Braden that I am very proud of him for defending our home! For it is because of brave souls like him that we can still say that we live in the home of the free and the brave. I honor all those who have served and are serving our great land.

I am doing better each day, it's been rough, but I am getting there! I figure another month & I should be good as new...??? lol
It is hard to finally realize who family & where home really is, but once you do, they path is alot clearer, at least for me!
I will tell Braden. Mike is thrilled, he has seriously debated staying in, so that he can be in with Braden. Braden has joined as a Helicopter Pilot...at least that is his dream right now, so Mike would be over him. I told Mike, this deployment is enough, I could not take having BOTH of them over there at once!! I am nowhere near that strong!! By the time Braden leaves, I will have about a month & 1/2 until Mike comes home, I can live with that.
