HI everyone

HI, my name is Lisa, I had RNY on July 1, have lost 60 lbs so far... I had my surgery at Trinity Hospital, dr Scott Pennington and Dr John Touliatos did my surgery... Mine was a revision, so it took both of them to do it....

I had Gastric Stampling did in 1982 and again in 1983, my stomach collapes after 9 months and had to be redid.... I started thinking about Gastric bypass about 3 years ago and did tons of research..... Went to a seminar and made my appointment with a local doctor... He told me I was not a canidate for surgery and I left broken hearted....... after about a year, I decided to get a second opionion and so glad I did.... I went on line to find local Bariatric doctors, found Dr Pennington, went to the support meeting... and then to another seminar...

then finally meet Dr Pennington in person, I felt peace right from the very begining.... Now its almsot 13 weeks after surgery and I am doing wonderul.... I am now looking forward to the rest of my life...

Good morning!!!!  I am thrilled to hear that you are doing so well.  I used another doctor, but I have friends who used Dr. Pennington and they love him.  He was my 2nd choice.  Also, welcome to the Bama Board.  I see you live in Odenville.  That is not far from where I work.  (Pell City).  I wish for you the very best in your journey.  Please keep us updated.
