Patty's Story~
Dear Friends,
I just wanted to let you know that yesterday at around 5:30-5:45 PM my sister-in-law Patty finally went home to be with the Lord. Praise God!! She knew her body was tired after all those years of fighting so she got her life right with God and so excited.
In her own special way Patty also prepared her family as well. Her husband ,James knows that she is in a better place and is in no more pain. He will need all the prayers we can offer for him.
Patty was a member at Evergreen Baptist Church where she gave her heart and soul to God. She was baptized and attended church faithfully.
The most unique thing about Patty was her will to fight all these years, but no matter how bad she was hurting she was always thinking of others.
Two days before her death a neighbor came to see her and had a bad foot. All Patty wanted was for someone to get him a chair so he would be comfortable This extraordinary example was just how Patty live her life caring about others no matter how she felt.
That is why I can Praise God in this terrible time of loss, but, I want you to know that we may have lost a dear friend and LOVED ONE GUESS WHAT????? God has just received an angel that even he will admire and knowing Patty the kingdom of Heaven will defiantly be shouting and singing Praises this week and is at this moment asking God to let her help someone in need.
So don't forget no matter how bad life treats you always remember Patty's story.
Will get in touch later can't go on now.
Praise God
Loretta,
Thank you for sharing Patty's story with us and Kyle's email. It truly touched my heart and soul. Your family has been truly blessed by God allowing you all to be part of Patty's life. Now God and all the other angels are blessed by Patty being with them. You are so blessed to have such a godly husband. Patty's life is a true example of what we as Christians are here for. We are here to help and love one another. I love the book "Purpose Driven Life", as Rick Warren states in the first sentence of the first chapter that, " It's not about you" and this is such a true and profound statement. I also love the scripture that he has in the front of the book: It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ,.....He had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose He is working out in everything and everyone. Ephesians I:II.
So in this time of loss know that Patty has fulfilled her purpose and that God was standing at the golden gates with outstretched arms to meet her.
Your family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
Love you.
Stefanie
