An amazing incident of God's protection

We had a wonderful trip to North Carolina but are glad to be back home. We rode the Dragon Tail, rode through the Smokies, visited Helen, Georgia and rode several other winding roads up into the mountains. One mountain had an elevation of 5000 feet. We were almost to the top when the second motorcycle and rider went over the edge due to loose gravel. We all jumped off our bikes and ran to Bubba. I was pacing back and forth just calling on the name of Jesus. I stood at one end of the accident to warn other riders to stop. When I was able to get back over to Bubba I discovered that he had fallen only about 20 feet. A tree had been uprooted and fallen across the trail and a bunch of kudzu (pardon the spelling) had covered the tree and broken Bubba's fall. The one bad thing was that the motorcycle came tumbling down on top of him but he was mostly just bruised up. The ambulance came and checked him out. A wrecker came and pulled out the motorcycle and believe it or not it had very little damage. God performed a miracle folks. Bubba should have fallen to the bottom of the ravine and with the motorcycle coming down on top of him, I don't believe he would be alive today. We all stopped and thanked God for His protection. How awesome He is.

Our last night there we had gone into the Tennesee mountains and on the way home it began to rain. I was on the back of the motorcycle and terrified. I know how dangerous rain can be so I was praying the whole time. We made it safe and sound but again I know that God was with us.

All I can say is, Thank you Jesus!!!!
