saying hello

Hi everyone....My name is Anita and I live in Columbus, Mississippi.  I am having RNY September 16 @ UAB.  Dr. Ronald Clements is my surgeon.  My husband and I spend almost as much time in Tuscaloosa as we do in Columbus, especially in football season!  You guys seem to have a message board that is "close" in nature, where everyone prays for one another.  I think that's grand....and ask that you pray for me as well.  I'm sure I'm having those last minute nerves, kinda like wedding day jitters, and truly I'm a bit scared and could use your prayers.  Thanks!

Hey there Anita and welcome to the Bama Board.  I think most of us had those jitters right before surgery.  Just know that you are in my prayers and others here.  I am so excited for you!!!!

Thanks everybody, I am touched by your prayers.  I know God has held me in His hands all these years and He hasn't let me down ever.....putting all trust in Him.  Congrats Rosie!  Will you be at UAB or another hospital?  I'm praying for you now, and will continue to do so.  I know you are excited!
