Beth Merchant. I heard from her this morning and they had some damage to their home and lost power for several days. Please pray for them that these storms pass them by. Also for Debbie Seymour and all of the others along the coast. I am praying that these storms bypass and do not harm anyone. Thanks so much, everyone!!!

Praying!!!! I want IKE to just fizzle on out!!! GOD IS ABLE!!
Our church is doing "A Call To Prayer"
We are praying from now until September 28th - then we will share our prayer experiences and discernments. We are having several prayer activities including a prayer line, prayer stations, prayer shawls, prayer groups, prayer fellowhips.
Our new fellowship hall which we opened yesterday has a prayer labyrinth in the center!!
So I am keeping a prayer journal and praying for all the prayer requests!

Dear BAMA family: Thank you all for your prayers and concern.
Glad to pray for Beth and others. George and I came through unscathed! Lots of debris, no power until Sat. @ 3:00 pm (while neighbors across the street got power Thurs. evening @ 9:00, they're on a different circuit). Even with the help of the generator, we lost most everything in the frig, but the freezer contents help up well for the most part. Slightly uncomfortable without A/C - can't imagine what that would have been like at 265 lbs. Thank God for WLS!!!
