For a Sunday dinner recipe for bone in split chicken breasts?  I usually don't buy bone in, but these were on sale and I got them anyway......all I gotta do is unthaw them, but I don't want to grill them.  They are quite large and are not usually as tender when they are this large.  What can I do with them?  I'm thinking about boiling them and deboning and making some sort of casserole or something in the crockpot.  I just don't know what to do.....

My family is tired of dumplins, since I've made them so often lately. :(  I will definitely have enough for chicken salad too though.  I might even have enough to make a small batch of dumplins.......I've got 6 HUGE breasts.  Thanks for the suggestions.  I've been wanting to make a chicken pot pie.....may do that if I have the stuff.

When I get those big ones I cut them into about 3 pieces and use them in a chicken casserole. I like the one that is on the back of the Camphbells cream of chicken soup.

Boil some for chicken salad.  Take the rest and put in a LARGE casserole dish.  In a bowl take a large can of cream of chicken soup and mix with 1 can of milk.  Season chicken with season salt and a little black pepper.  Pour mixture over chicken then cover with foil and bake at 350° for 45 min to 1 hour (depending on size of breasts) or until chicken is no longer pink.  Serve with rice and veggies.

I love it like this and I usually cook the rice in with mine when I make it this way.
