I got home from the hosptial around 3 yesterday  afternoon..  I am still nauseated and in alot of pain.  I think one of small incisions is getting infected, very red around and swelled
I also have diarrea now..is that normal?

Welcome home Teresa!
I had more frequent, loose stools when I got home from the hospital.  Keep an eye on the incision site and do not be hesitant to call your M.D.

Again, WELCOME HOME!

Teresa...if the incision continues to look like that, please call the hospital, doctor, or go to the ER.  I would not wait about that.  I wish you all the best.

Welcome home Teresa!! So glad you are home. Try to keep moving as much as you can..the gas is very painful if you don't...gasX helps also. If you are still on liquids at this point, your stool will be very loose. Each day should get better than the day before..hang in there you are doing great. Just remember if you are concerned or  feel something isn't right..please call your dr. Even tho its weekend and there office is closed...leave a message with the answering service and a dr will call you back.
Keep us posted on how you are doing Doll.

Welcome to the losers side!  Sounds like what you are experiencing is pretty normal (with the pain and diahrea (sp).  Keep an eye on that incision and contact your doctor for sure if  you think it's getting infected.  He wouldn't want you to wait  on something like that.

Keep yourself as active as you can, it will help in the long run.  And take good care of yourself.  You are just beginning on this wonderful journey.
