TGIF!

Today at 5:00pm could not have gotten here soon enough. To have been a short week, this was the LONGEST week!

Anyway, now it is officially the weekend!

I am home, have accomplished a few things, done a little cleaning, started some laundry and am planning on
calling it an early night.

A friend has invited me to get up in the morning and GO!
WHERE? We don't know. We just have not had a girls day out in a while and she wants to take me out for lunch for my birthday and we will just make a day of it.


We will either end up in Nashville and have lunch at the Rain Forrest or we will end up in Birmingham.....
I am thinking Nashville to avoid the traffic headed
South for the Alabama game tomorrow night.
Wherever we go, we plan to relax and have fun!

This has been the longest week I've had in a long time.  I wish I had the energy to do all that you have.  Fortunately DH is back from NY and did the laundry and a little housework! So I have taken advantage tohaving my MIL's laptop and thought I would get on the Bama Board and catch up!!

It is a Rainy/Cloudy morning here in North Alabama...
I just finished ironing jeans to wear today---have a load of laundry to fold and my shirt to iron, then I will be headed to the shower and getting ready to hit the road.

Sounds like you have a great day planned!  I have NEVER eaten at the Rain Forrest for that sounds very interesting!!!  What kind of food is served there?

I think it will be a fun day! As you know, it is rainy and cloudy here--but the drive to Nashville is not a bad one.
I will go up through Fayetteville and cut across 64 to the Interstate....

Rain Forrest has a little bit of everything. They have a kids menu as well as all the adult stuff. I usually end up getting a hamburger when I go there, but I am one who usually prefers hamburgers over steaks. They have salads, mexican food, steak, chicken, ribs....a little bit of everything.

I have taken Hannah there a couple of times and she loves it. The atmosphere is what it is really all about.
Lots of WILD animals and thunderstorms....
