Elle  Hiddy, How nice. Maxie cooked turnip greens, cornbread, corn beef hash, and pinto beans.
He got a big shot this morning when he went to the doctor and 2 more med. to take. I sure hope this helps.
I had a great day at school, all the kids took a nap.
Tomorrow, Mother Goose will visit them and read a story. They will be so excited.
Have a good week. Ellen

Yummy.  Your supper sounds nice.  I made some stir fry chicken with boneless skinless chicken thights.   It was so good.  Plus I have leftovers for me, DH and DD tomorrow.  I must have chicken on the brain cuz I am putting a nice hen in the crockpot tomorrow.  Not sure what else besides some of my creamed corn I put up this summer.  Mmmm..maybe some of my green beans or some okra.

HI Elle!   I have missed seeing Karla posting.  She must be super busy.  Next time you see her, tell her I said "Hello". Oh, and for dinner, I had a couple of bites of hotdog and some nachos.  It was game night for our football team and my DH is a cheerleader this year.

Please tell Karla next time you see or talk with her that I miss her wisdom and that she needs to post to let us know how she is doing. Now as far as dinner Bobby and I went out. Hopefully by this time next week I will have everthing finished in my kitchen. Been without one now for 2 weeks. Marble on the floor will be finished tomorrow and the cabinets will be here Thursday and then the appliances Friday. I am sick of this renovations.

I enjoyed dinner, too.  I was disappointed that we didn't get to see what the chocolate cobbler was.  I am still curious.  I guess we could have just asked.  I enjoyed Jill, too.  I have to agree with her on several points that she  made at the table.  Jill is wiser than she is given credit often.  That child did look good in her dress and makeup, too.  She is really turning out to be a very lovely young woman.

For the record, I would not repeat the Chipolte Chicken Salad at FIG again.  The regualar chicken salad is rather good.    I like my own pimento and cheese better, but I have been told I make an excellent pimento and cheese.  You basically buy the Mexican blend of grated cheese, dump a jar of chopped pimentos in, use real mayo to moisten it...and the secret is a little salt and black pepper.  I don't know what the black pepper does, but it does enhance the taste of the whole thing.

Yes, I am busy.  School is just starting and I am having to write.  I am also having a lot of problems with rheumatoid arthritis.  Basically, I am having to conserve my energy that the constant pain seems to be taking from me.  I have got to find a better medication that I can take for the arthritis.  I was in remission, but it has come back with a vengence in the last few weeks.
