Julie is fine in Gulf Shores

I just spoke with her and she said they were getting a lot of rain and wind, but still have electricity.  She said they are fine.  Hopefully her internet will be back up soon so she can post.

We just got a lot of rain and a little wind here in Daphne.  I am tired and hoping to be released from work soon so I can go home and get some well needed sleep (or at least a GOOD cup of coffee).

They finally released us at noon yesterday and I went home and slept from 1-6 and then went back to bed at 8:30 PM and then overslept this morning.  We had a 7:30 meeting this morning so I had to rush to work.  I barely made it with minutes to spare.

Daphne ended  up having a little bit of flooding in low lying areas, but no damage.  Some trees are leaning and need to be cut down, but we made it through just fine. 

Glad to see you are back online Julie.  Stay in touch with me about the walk in October.  I am really excited to take part in that.  I just hope it cools off a little by then ( doubt it, but I can hope),
