Good LABOR DAY Morning Everyone!

Hope everyone has a Happy and Safe Labor day!

No real plans here -- forecast today could include some rain and possible thundertorms, so I will probably just stay inside and relax. I do need to iron some scrubs for work for the rest of the week.

Looks like GUSTAV is going to make his fury know to Louisiana in the next couple of hours....thoughts and prayers go out to that part of our country--I'll be watching the news to see how this goes.

Happy Labor Day. I will likely stay in most of the day too. Ryan is going fishing (weather permitting) so since I will not have any children today, I need to get some house work done. 

We had some people from the hurricane path at church yesterday. I'm glad they were evacuated early this time.

Last I read from you, I was thinking you were in Germany or somewhere besides..home.

Anyway, YES, I am glad they evacuated early. I hope they find that it was not necessary, but much better to be safe than sorry and to have to relive Katrina.
I can not imagine how those people are hurting --today the third anniversary of Katrina and they are living it again.

I saw on our local news this morning that six busses of evacuees had arrived at Sneed State Jr. College in Alabama--said it was a 16 hour ride for those people.

I spent 5 weeks in Germany but I'm home now. I returned last Tuesday. Travel arrangements were changed at the last minute and I am still awaiting a reply from Lufthansa's ticket office regarding this, otherwise everything was good.

Germany is beautiful and the food is delicious. What more can I say?

It's different from the USA so if people dont expect things to be Americanized and can accept the differences, it's a wonderful place and we could learn a lot from our neighbors. I'd love to go back again someday.

I almost went to my cousin's house this weekend--and you know, you are right on my way there-but now it is Monday and I do have to work tomorrow....

(Actually--I am scheudled off work for the entire week but since I did not make plans to go anywhere or do anything, I decided to save that time and told my boss that I will be at work most of the week.) I may take off Wednesday---figure that one out!

I have no real plans either. I am sunburn from our trip to Calloway Gardens yesterday and Dakota's cousin spent the night with him last night so we will most likely just play around here today. I have plenty of laundry to keep me busy and I am sure I can find something to clean!
