Am I weird, or just blessed?

I will soon be 5 years post op. I see so many struggling with regain....but I still struggle to keep my weight at 125-130. I get my protein, my fluid, my vitamins. But if I miss one meal my weight drops. I am not bragging, I am curious. I am not sick or anything. I just have that struggle to keep the pounds from getting too low again.

A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything.

I would definitely call it a blessing, but I am curious too, if anyone else is like that.
Enjoy it though because it might change as you get older, but hopefuly not.

Renee I just turned 5 year a few weeks ago. I have not regained and continue to wear a size 6. I bought a couple of dresses today for the cruise and will have to have them altered as I have to buy them to fit the girls. But I now love to buy dresses. I to have seen a lot that have regained.

Renee- I am so proud for you!  You look awesome.  Everyday is a winding road, as Sheryl Crow would sing, but I think you have the "curves" well managed!

Love ya, Nanci

You are very blessed.

I am 5 and a half years out and it seems that if I smell food, I gain. I have even started having a problem with frothing. It literally makes me sick to eat but I still gain weight. I guess that qualifies me as weird.

Hey Gina, I'm having the same problem. I thought it was the steroids, but I'm up 10 pounds and can't seem to lose it. Anyway, I'm not frothing, per se, but I find that I have the urge to vomit quit regularly, which is scary. I see my doctor in a few weeks, so maybe he can give me some insight. Good luck, and let me know how things go.

Miss you,
Gisela

I didnt froth when I was early out. I'm not even sure if that is what it really is but I do get sick after my evening meals. I cant explain it but I know it aint normal... not after five years anyway.
