The block feature is to give you peace of mind. It will not keep anyone from reading your posts if the want to. What it does do is prevent me from reading posts from those I don't care for for one reason or another. If I can't see them or read them my feeling aren'yt hurt by anything that is said.
The truth is this.. we are on a message board. I have met many people on here in person. I care for most of them a great deal. Then there are those I don't care for, just like in real life.
Blocking them keeps me from being nasty and ugly to some people.
The folks I have blocked can log out and read what I post. That is no secret. I don't really care.
It makes me much more important in their lives than I should be.
BTW-- Most of the time I read what someone blocked has said I get it emailed to me in a PM.
Not that I ask for it..I just get it.
