I need you today......
Please say a prayer for me. I'm having terrible dizzy spells today and have been for the last month or 2. I'm in bed as I type. I was diagnosed with vertigo and was put on Meclizine/Antivert 12.5. It isn't doing anything for me. Not even when I take 2 of them. I honestly think it is stress. I don't mean to whine, but I sure could use your prayers.
Lucy could as well. NO! There is nothing going on between us and our relationship. We both have a lot going on with a house, her moving so far away, starting a new job, a new life, adjusting to a new place where I am the only one she knows and the fact that we have a wedding that we are preparing for. Please just keep us in your prayers.
Also, my car is almost on the fritz again. 2 years old and I find out that it is worth only 1/2 of what I paid ($212.00 more than half to be exact) and I will be upside down if I trade it. I spent 975.00 on it last month alone! SHESH! DO NOT BUY A KIA!! Yahoo sent me a negative email today concerning KIA motor cars and the fact that they are having "issues" with them.
Thanks in advance for your prayers and letting me whine. HEHEHEHEHE
God is faithful and HE WILL SEE US THROUGH!!
Sorry that you are not feeling well. Maybe it would be worth a call to your doctor to see if they can call you in something stronger? Or maybe something different.
Do you have any Phenergan on hand? Maybe that would help? Not a typical label use for phenergan, but in my years, I have seen it happen!
(Of course, Phenergan is my drug of choice for most things....it makes me sleep and if I am asleep, whatever else is not bothering me at that time! I have gotten to the point where I take Phenergan for my migraine headaches and don't even use the Imitrex anymore.)
Just think though, you may not want to "cure all your ills" because it won't be long at all till you will have your very own nurse to take good care of you!
As for the Car--sorry...I know that has to be frustrating to you. We are all so dependant on our cars and sometimes they really let us down. I will say that while I don't know much about Kias--I sure have been happy with my Toyota. I have had it a little over four years...and have never had (knock on wood) to do any work on it other than its routine maintenance/oil changes/brakes....the very basic things. Not sure if it is available at all Toyota Dealers or not, but locally
(Fayetteville/Park City, Tennessee) has a Toyota
dealer (Landers McClarty) that now offers lifetime warranties on their cars. It may would be cheaper in the long run for you to trade the Kia in and go for a new car. You spent last month on your car--more thanwhat I spend in three months payments on mine! That would hurt my feelings if I were you.
Carolyn~
Love ya,

Hey Old Friend,
I am certainly praying that the Lord blesses both of you. I have only had Vertigo one time and it took me about 8 weeks to fully recover. I was hospitalized initially because I could'nt stop vomiting or even stand up. If I moved my head at all, I felt like I was on some crazy carnival ride. IT WAS AWFUL! Upon discharge I began a pred pack, meclizine and valium. For a long time if I bent over I would have to grab the wall just to be sure I was standing upright. Anyway...It was awful!
Lucy will be okay as soon as life hits a normal pace. Right now your life is one long episode of vertigo. There is such a whirlwind of activity that it is impossible to keep track of things. In another month the wedding will be done and life will begin a forward motion and the two of you will have begun to live as one.
The car...well unfortunately there will always be a car problem in your life. I think the major automobile makers planned it that way. But dear friend I fully am persuaded that the Lord wiil give you peace and comfort in all these matters.
My God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in Glory.
Blessings
