Has anyone had or knows someone who has had a revision? I think my stoma has stretched out and i no longer feel the fullness I used to. I tried the 5 day pouch diet and the first day i was ravenously hungry by night tme only having liquids. I decided I would have to add some solid/soft protein and focus on the carb reduction. But it seemed like no matter how much protein I got I never felt satisfied. Day 5 I gave up in tears. I think something is wrong. I wish I could live on shakes and feel satisfied but I had pot roast with no problem and still didn't feel that restricted fullness.

pouch stretched? stoma stretched? no clue. I have 2 choices here in huntsville dr. malipur and dr. foreman. i think i'm going to try and get a referral. just to help me figure out if it's me or my pouch.

I think the M.D. can test your pouch...but, I am not sure.  You may want to call the M.D. to ask.  Just my opinion...of the 2 you listed, I would go to Dr. M.

Go with Malipur!! He agreed to take me on in early August when I was hospitalized.
He is a wonderful surgeon!!
But definitely see him. Ask about a revision. Go to the revisions board here. Also go the DS board. You can get a lot of info about the DS. Yiu just have to weed through the buttheads!!
