Friday Coffee Talk
WOO HOO!! It is FRIDAY!! The weekend is just about here. Just a few more hours and most of you will get a long weekend. It's gonna be a wonderful day. Don't cha just love Fridays?
Our challenge today is to live like you were dying. No truer song has ever been written. We aren't promised tomorrow, today, or even the next second. We need to live every day to it's fullest. As someone who has faced death 3 times, I have learned that I am going to live every day and enjoy my life. Life is too short for trivial mess. Life is too short to not enjoy living. We have a choice to love life, or to just exist. Too often, we just exist and life passes us by. I dare you to change that today if that is you. Live a life that LOVES. Live a life that enjoys life. LIVE LIKE YOU WERE DYING and LOVE YOUR LIFE!!
So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm loving me some Maxwell House regular blend and it is so good this morning. I love my coffee! I had to go 24 hours w/o it for my stress test (which went great by the way) and I sure did miss my coffee! LOL Imagine that! I didn't get a head ache nor did I get sick not having it so I am not addicted to the caffeine. LOL I JUST LOVE MY COFFEE! As soon as I was allowed to have it, I left the Dr.s office and went to Village Coffee. HEHEHHEHE

We got to pick up Danica yesterday and she is going to stay the weekend with us. We are going camping with Gisela and a friend of hers in Eufaula this weekend. We are all so excited. Dylan is especially excited to get to spend some time with his baby sister and I must say I AM TOO! These two babies are absolutely precious together. Dylan calls her "Princess"!!!! Forgive me for rambling but I'm soooooo excited! I have two of my babies with me AND I get to spend the weekend with Gisela!!!! Sunday is my birthday so what better way to spend it!!!! Woooooo Hoooooooo

Having my coffee now. Have to leave a bit early to take the kids to school. Emma is leaving for the weekend with one of her friends from school and heading to Tupelo, MS. Poor Jesse is stuck with Mama and Daddy this weekend. Tonight is the first football game of the season so we will be busy in concessions and hoping to get lots of work done tomorrow so we can go to the lake on Sunday.

I'm sipping on come community coffee this morning. Tastes pretty good. I will probably have me some espresso when the hubby gets up. We are both off today and he's sleeping in a little.
Having faced death once as well (cancer in 2000), I know all too well what you mean. You have to grab life and live each day to its fullest.
I have pretty much decided the storm isn't coming our way and am waiting on clearance from my boss at 10am to leave town for my trip to Atlanta for the long weekend. If it was headed this way, I was to be on call all weekend as "essential personnel" who has to work on storm preparedness for our city. I have a City phone (I work for our local municipality) so they can always call me back early if they need me. I was just looking so forward to seeing my sister and her kids and spending a nice relaxing weekend with them. Looks like my trip might just happen afterall. That makes me unbelievably happy. That and I lost another two lbs. Aint that grand?
