Gustav...where will he land

So, the Gulf Coast is watching yet another storm.  I had plans to take my granddaughter (3 yoa) to Atlanta this (long) weekend.  Even took Friday off so I would have four days off to spend with her.  Now this storm is headed somewhere in the gulf states area and no one knows where.  I work for our local government and am considered "essential personnel" and would be expected to be available for any storm preparedness as well as recovery.  It means I can't leave town if it's headed anywhere near here.  BUMMER . 

I don't mind doing my job, but why this weekend of all weekends (yeah, pass me some cheese to go with that whine...lol).

Pray that this storm fizzles out and no one has to suffer the brunt of a hurricane on Monday.

were back in the cone again here in FLorida--dont know what ot expect though except all I can see is our gas prices going sky high again.  Were all praying for the best. 

So sorry that Gus has ruined your weekend, but I do appreciate the job you (and other 'esssentional personnel' and first responders) do.  We have friends in Gulfport as well as family in Foley, so we're praying for you all!

I know...I want some cheese to go with my whine too! GUSTAV We have plans for Saturday and Monday that will probably be rained out.  I work downtown Mobile and we have a lot or preparedness we need to do for our office just "in case" and I am in the middle of end of year reports that have to be ready whether Gustav comes or not!!!

I don't have time for this guy!

Cynthia said Heather can't come home this weekend if Gustav is coming! And I've gotten so close to her I was so excited to go enjoy coffee with her.
I told her I'm praying Gustav off so she can come home and visit! lol
