Today is my surgiversary!!!  And what a year it has been.  This time a year ago, I shopped Lane Bryant and immediately went to the 26/28/30 rack with hopes I would find something. Today I easily fit into the 14/16s and oh, what a selection I have now!

This time last year...
I could barely walk the block without breaking out in a sweat and panting like a dog.
I slept ALL the time.
I was on nine prescription medications.
I was severly depressed.
I had little motivation to do hardly anything.
I could barely fit into a booth at any given resturant.
I could eat a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts and still crave more.
I wore a size 9.5 shoe.
My back hurt all the time from carrying all that weight.
I never enjoyed shopping because I was limited to Lane Bryant or the like.

Today...
I RUN a 5k in less than 40m. And do it about three times a week.
I sleep less but feel better rested.
I am on ZERO-ZIP-NADA prescriptions.  I take a multi-vitamin.
Depression? What is that?
I am teaching my kids, teaching Sunday School, and I am a Girl Scout leader. How's that for motivation?
I fit in a booth, along with my two daughters and a purse. And still have room!
The thought of KK donuts makes me gag! The bite of KK donuts makes me...
I wear a size 8 shoe-yep, even that part of my body has shrunk!
No more back pain.
What a thrill to shop at Old Navy and actually try on and wear the clothes!!

I have kicked almost 80lbs of fat away and today is a great day!
