I'm home from surgery! and a THANK YOU

I got to go home saturday...my surgery was wed. morning.  They kept me one extra day.  I had problems with my oxygen level being low, even when i was on the oxygen.  I couldnt take deep enough breaths.  When they got in to do my surgery, the put me to sleep, then went to put the nasal tube down my nose, but it wouldnt go into my stomach...so they looked around with an endoscope and i had a pretty big hiatal hernia.  So they had to repair that first.  I think that might be why it hurts to breath deep and why I wasnt taking deep enough breaths.  I think they have to disect  thru the breathing muscle, the diaphram, right above the stomach... Anyway, i'm home, been sleeping in the recliner.

thanks and I get my drains removed tomorrow...hope it doesnt hurt toooo much!  At this point i just want them out!! lol.

So glad you are home and resting Donna..YOU will feel so much better as soon as those drains come out. Get some rest and you continue to be in my prayers for a quick recovery.

So glad you are home sweety. Take care of yourself and like I said let us know what your Dr says today when you get your drains out.... save me a seat on that losers bench! love ya doll!

Donna. I was just thinking of you yesterday and wondering how you were doing. You will feel so much today after those drains come out. It was my pleasure to be able to go see some of Dr. Freemans patients. Like I told you, if you ever have any questions we are just a message away. i hope that one day you can come and be with us at our support group meeting. I am so glad that your are doing good.

Donna...it was such a pleasure meeting you and your husband.  You will be so much more comfortable after the drains come out.  Let us know your progress, please.  You and your husband were so sweet.  Thanks so much for letting me be your angel.  If I can do anything at all...please let me know. 

Glad to hear you're home - you'll feel much better resting in your OWN place!  The drains won't hurt coming out...and you'll feel like a new woman, lol.
