Friday Coffee Talk

Good morning!!  Guess what?  IT IS FRIDAY!!  WOO HOO!!  Do ya got big plans for the weekend?  I do!!  Lucy made it safe and sound and I was able to spend about 3 hours with her and her mom last night.  Today, we are off to Montgomery, then tomorrow we will be back in Montgomery for the Lunch.  Can't wait to see those of you that can make it!

Our challenge for today is to no be jealous.  Jealousy kills and destroys.  It is a terrible sickness that eats away at you like a cancer.  I have seen jealousy kill marriages and friendships.  Also, families.  There is absolutely NO REASON to be jealous of anyone.  If someone has more than you (in any aspect) be proud for them.  Sometimes it hurts to see someone else prosper, but be proud for them and realize that you TOO are blessed in what you have!  You are blessed with friends, family, food, clothing, a great family,   Most of all, jealousy is pure silly, in ANY aspect!!  I know WE are ALL better than jealousy and can overcome this green eyed monster.  I know I used this challenge a couple of weeks ago, but I felt to use it again.  I need to hear things twice sometimes.  We all do!

So, who's up?  What cha sipping on this morning?  I'm LOVING me some Mocha Java coffee.  Sure is good too!  Want to join me with a cup this morning?

Thanks for the challenge!!  I am NOT jealous that my boss is gone to the Bahamas for the weekend....NOT...  LOL..  Seriously...  I do find jealousy slips in and out of my thinking and I just have to pray that it never overtakes my being..

Good morning Randall. Sounds like you have a busy weekend planned with Lucy.
It was nice to be able to get up and have some coffee with my DH this morning. Normally I get up and stumble out and grab a cup on the go, then see him for a brief moment before I head out. I dont go back to work til sunday evening so I will get to spend a bit of time with him this weekend.
Today I am going to do a LITTLE housework then I am going to do something for KIM.Dont know what but I am going to be nice to me for a change.
I baked 6 loaves of bread yesterday. 4 raisin cinnamon and 2 sourdough.

Good morning Randall! I'm so glad that Lucy & her mom made it safely! Thanks for a wonderful challenge....I definitely needed to hear that this morning! Sometimes I really do let jealousy get the best of me...but today I'm throwing that jealousy out the window!

I'm sipping on some plain water this morning! I've been trying to up my water intake and what do you know...all the sudden 4 LBS. are gone! Woohoooo! I hope I can make it to Montgomery tomorrow....if not I hope you guys have a wonderful time!

Jealousy is dangerous and destroys many people... that being said, I am not the least bit jealous that I'm in Europe and most of y'all are in the states.

I'll be home soon and the first place I want to go is Starbucks.  There's one in Graf (another military base) but I havent bought any coffee there.

I'm bringing my two grandsons back with me. When Remy's passport arrives she and Kelly will also be flying back to the states until SIL returns from being deployed. (Getting a passports take longer here).  

Weekend plans: We are going to a festival tomorrow. SIL cant venture too far from home since he is being deployed in a few days. We arent even sure if he'll be allowed to drive me and the boys to the airport. They may stick us on a train and send us off that way .
