Waldrop Family Update!

I am sorry that it has taken me this long to update but I did not get home last night until 11:33 and I passed out as soon as I got home, I was so tired and emotionally drained.

The family and Drs decided to wait 1 more day to place Wade in the Pulmative Care Unit (sp?), this is where they take all wires tubes, ect off of him EXCEPT the breathing tube, then allow the family up to 3 days to disconnect him and allow him to go.  They decided this after knowing there was more family comning in from out of town and also because one of the sons felt as if it still wasn't time.  This son, James, has been reading the scriptures to wade EVERY time he goes in to see his Dad.  We last night before I left Donnas family arrived from South Carolina.  Her step-dad has had a bad stroke and can only say VERY FEW words.  Well he went in to see Wade and he wanted to pray (keep in mind Wade was almost the only person that knew what Bill was saying because he took care of him all of the time)  anyways Bill went to praying and no one really understanding what he was saying other than "PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE"  Donna said that Wade took 3 really hard deep breaths on his own.  Is this a sign?  this is such a confusing time for her, the family and even us as friends. There were so many people there showing support for this family.  There was 4 of the kids from school that stayed with us all day long.

I am asking that you please continue to pray not only for comfort during this time but also in a way of direction, if you will.  As the family sees the little things that he is doing they wonder can he be saved, however if I am understanding things correctly, if Wade continued to live he would be a vegtable and that is something he would not want.

This is breaking my heart to see this family plus in some selfish way it brings back memories of my momma and it hurts so bad.  Please in your spare time say a quick prayer!  Thank you all for every word said and all of the support.  I have been printing out everything we write here so they can see the support and prayers.  The papers hang in Wades room.  So from this family I say thank you!
