OT: Lucy & Randall
Dear Lucy & Randall,
I am hoping this post does not offend anyone on this board, especially the two of you but... I have to ask the tough questions....
What are your colors and decor in your new home? Are ya'll registered anywhere? Are there any particular wants or needs just in case someone wanted to get ya'll a wedding gift?
I know I could have asked this in a PM but I am asking publicly just in case any of your other family here would like to know what you two want/need for your new home.
This info may have been given at one time or another and I missed it. Sorry if I am making you repeat yourselves! :)
I am so excited & happy for the two of you & your families.
xoxo
Dixie

Good morning my friend! Lucy is about to be on the road so I will answer as best I can for us. LOL We are registered at Wal-mart, Target, JCPenny's, Macy's, and at a little place here in Luverne called Kate's Kountry. Wal-Mart, Target, JCP, and Macy's have online shopping for whatever anyone wants to pick. I was with her at Wal-Mart and know what she picked. FUN DAY! LOL The other places I haven't a clue. I was with her when we registered at Kate's Kountry. They have gift certificates that can be applied to any gift on our table. The phone number there (as they have no web page) is 334-335-5959.
As for the house colors/decor. The kitchen is being done in a coffee theme with browns and reds. Go figure that one! LOL Our living room is neutral colors with a red couch and area rugs to match with red in them. The dinning room has beige walls and burgandy scarves on the window. See the color schemes. HEEHEE (reds) The bathroom is a blank slate. I did one in palm trees with not that much decor. Only the rug and shower curtain with 2 towels. Not sure really if she will like my palm trees. LOL I know I have things, but Lucy has never been married and looks forward to setting up house. That is my main reason for waiting on things. Most of my stuff is used after the house fire. We really are a blank slate. Our bedroom has plum colored walls with white trim. I'm trying to make this room a romantic place, HAHA, but again, I have to wait to see what she likes other than the walls. I know the comforter set is at Wal-mart and I will say this, we have no comforter set as of now.
I am rambling.
Mainly, anyone can look on the sites under bridal registry to get an idea. Those things are just a WISH list and NOT what we expect!!
God bless you ALL. WE love this board and YOU ALL MAKE UP THIS BOARD!
Thank you Dixie! We appreciate your thoughtfulness. I too hope no one is offended by this.
