8 days to go til my surgery

I can't believe it is just 8 more days til my surgery.  I have been on my pre-surgery diet since Friday & I am hungry but I know it will be worth it in the end.  I am asking everyone to keep me in their prayers.  God will be my co-surgeon & he will be guiding my surgeons hands.  I have a very bad back & I am a little concerned about that after the surgery.  I have already had 4 back surgeries & sometimes after surgery I have difficulty standing over a couple of seconds.  So please pray that I won't have this complication after this surgery.  I intend to walk as much as possible.  My doctor is already planning to put filters in to help avoid blood clots.  I am sure God will take care of me, but, I am just a little nervous about my back problems.  Thanks for letting me vent!

Congrats on your upcoming surgery.  The liquid diet is tough for the first few days..it does get a touch easier after day 3...but it's still hard.  It will be so worth it!!  You are in my prayers..God will take care of you my friend!!
