Weekend with my FAMILY!

I've had an absolute wonderful day with my entire family.  Jill worked this morning, but I've had both girls, my hubby and grandson today as well as my Daddy.  It's just been a GREAT day.  Tomorrow after church we're going to be celebrating my Daddy's 71st birthday.  We're going to his sister's house out of town and I'm taking chicken, rolls and birthday cake for everyone and 3 of his sisters will be bringing other veggies and tea.  Holly, Beau and Christian will be there as well.  Beau had to work today and is working late tonight....so I still have my family here with me.  We're having grilled fish , baked potatoes and salad for dinner tonight.  It's smellign so good too.

Isn't it great to just be at HOME with your family?  We've all been here today as well.  Nothing special, just hanging out and getting a few things done around here.  I love when nobody has plans and we can be here together.  It is absolutely my favorite thing.  I'm glad you had a good day. 

Tell that dad of yours Happy Birthday.  He doesn't look 71!!

How is that sweet girl of yours doing?  I sure hope she is feeling better.  Please tell her hello for me.

She is really doing well!  I'm so glad.  I guess it's her youth LOL!  I wasn't doing this well at two weeks out.  I will definitely tell her you said hi.

I;ve been nursing a cold today, but Frank has been taking care of me!  I have to go to work tomorrow since I got behind on jury duty.  We're going to cookout tomorrow when Morgan gets back from her dad's.  It's a Sunday tradition now.  She likes helping frank with the grill!

Me & Scott are the Lone Rangers this weekend.  Dylan is staying with a friend of mine.  She picked him up from "big school" yesterday and will bring him home tomorrow.  I miss my DylanBug!!!

Scott has been nursing me and doing a pretty good job I must say....  We put lima beans w/diced ham in the crockpot last night and have eat on them all day today.  Scott cleaned out the crock pot and has quail w/ cream of chicken soup, broth, cream of celery soup, onions & mushrooms cooking for tomorrow.  We'll probably fix a rice dish to go with that for tomorrow.  Scott has even done laundry and has gotten onto me everytime I try to do something.  He didn't do this good during all the other surgeries I've had but the oral surgeon gave him strict instructions that I'm to do no lifting or bending period.  I know I complain about my man alot but I have nothing bad to say today. :) I do love him so.
