What's everyone up to these days?
So many people not posting. Just wondering where everyone is and what you're all up to? Would love to hear from everyone. Things are going well here. I have good classes this year and I'm very happy with them. Kyle starts a new job on Monday and we're very happy about that. Jill is a senior this year and working her little heart out. That girl loves to work. Holly starts back to college here in Tuscaloosa next week in nursing. She has 3 years ahead of her and she's got a job at my school working the after school program teaching arts and crafts. She's real excited about that and the pay is very good for the little bit she will have to work each week. Beau is looking for a new and better job....FINALLY! Christian is doing wonderful and will begin staying with our pastor's wife 2 days a week while his grandma and great (Mamie) and my Daddy (Pop Pop) help take turns on the other two days. They are all in for a huge transition once Holly starts to back to school and work.
I am maintaining my weightloss although it seems to rearrange itself often. Always in my tummy....seems like my legs get skinnier and my tummy gets bigger....ugh.....I haven't gained any weight though and I'm proud of that. I am staying at the same weight give or take a pound or two any given day. I've tried to increase my water and protein now that I am back and work and on some sort of schedule again. I do so much better with a schedule. I got myself some good protein bars (DETOUR) and I've got my boss hooked on them as well....we share all the time....ha ha!! He had WLS last December and has done wonderfully. We have a the neatest little group of WLS'ers at my school and we're always there for each other it seems. It's a great support team to work together.
Our house is good and we're still loving it here. Just got a lot of yard work that ALWAYS needs work.....haven't had to cut the grass but twice all summer, but we have to rake, sweep and blow the huge drive and sidewalks very often. It's nice though and we enjoy it....just wish we had more time to do more yard work. With fall coming around the corner, we will have to do LOTS of raking and blowing....Ugh... Good exercise though.
I'm looking forward to spending a nice and relaxing weekend with my husband this weekend before he starts his new job. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers. I still have one last prayer request that I need prayer about. Thank you all and I hope to be hearing from some of you soon. I miss everyone......

5 Years Post Op
I'm here for a minute! I'm just trying to play catchup from being so focused on DD's surgery and recovery. Whew! I'm worn out! And of course I'm playing catchup at work too! But everything is good here.

I'm just hanging out getting ready for tomorrow.
Dylan started a new day care today. It was a tough decision but one that had to be made. I think he is going to be happy there. He sacked out within 10 mins of going to bed so I think they wore him out today.
We took him to BK to play a bit before we came home and i've been playing catch up on laundry & straightening up because I know it will not get done otherwise.
We have to be in Montgomery b4 9:00 in the morning and I'm SO not lookin forward to it!
