Thursday Coffee Talk
Good Thursday morning everyone! Time to rise and shine. It's gonna be a wonderful day. How'd you sleep? I slept like a rock!
Our challenge for today is to not take things for granted. Too often, we take our spouses, children, jobs, LIFE and many other things for granted. We just assume it's always going to be there. We don't appreciate things. We just keep on going every day assuming. Appreciate your spouse. Love and LIVE life. While you may not like your job, it is your way of supplying for your family. Never take anything for granted. It could be gone in an instant.
So, who's up this morning? What cha sippin' on? Me? I'm enjoying some awesome Boca Java Deep Blue Blueberry coffee. The taste of blueberries is so good in this coffee. You'd love it!

I BOOOO HOOOOed last night for I was missing my hubby & family terribly~not taking them for granted, that's for sure! Tim's on his kick about moving down to south Alabama again. It's so difficult to be away from them during the week!

I know this already !! The car wreck really put things in order for me. I don't remember the wreck it's self, but the not knowing really gets to me. It was in 2005 and I still cry and think about how my life was almost gone. I remember when the Doc said to the nurse that I was a trama one, it really got ahold of me. You can be gone in an instant and never know it . You need to let your words end in a good note, might be the last ones you hear or say!!

I hope you rested well. Life now is so hetic for you I know! I have a job interview this a.m. I am interviewing to substitute on Thurs and Fri of each week as my health can take it. I want to earn the extra money that the state dropped because of budget cuts in the community college system.
I have also been convicted that I spend wastefully and I need to take a good look at that.

Good morning to all! I'm sipping on my trusty Cafe Bustello as usual. No one in my house will even try flavored coffees, but I did find a catalog where my husband can purchase exotic espresso beans from other countries such as Peru, Brazil, etc. I'm game to try anything new.
The thing I really need to work on not taking for granted is my job. I have a government job, which pays decently and the work is virtually stress-free (and don't even forget about the benefits). My boss is great and I only travel 4 mile each way to get there. I really need to sit back and appreciate what I have here. Not all people have jobs they enjoy. I also need to stop taking my weight loss for granted. I just came off a long plateau and have been losing pretty good but I need to work harder at it. I admit there is much more I could be doing to help things along.
One thing I DON'T take for granted is my husband. I get up extra early just to see him off to work each morning, even though I could easily sleep that extra hour. I tell him I love him quite often and show him how much through my actions day in and day out. He is my best friend and I would be lost without him.

After seeing my friend in a coma and his poor wife and family struggling with this situation I have come to realize we need not take our loved ones for granted. I thank you for this challenge and i am going to do my best to make sure every day I let my family know how much I really do love them, as we might not ever have another chance. I'm also workign on never allowing a loved one go away angry. Donna and Wade had had a small argument when he took off on his bike and was in the accident. Due to this Donna is having some serious emotional issues. Thaks you again my friend for reminding us of this.
I am on my way to grab a cold bottled water, it's time for my handfull of medicine.
