Hi Beth,
I have a Suzuki Boulevard 650. I haven't been back on it since last Saturday. I may try again this weekend. I don't want to sell it just yet. I really think I was just having a bad day the last time I tried. I did fine on the open road but it was the downshifting to make a turn that kind of got me scattered. I almost lost control in the turn because I didn't look where I was wanting to go. I know what to do but I just froze up. I keep wanting to stick my leg down when I get scared and that's not going to work, is it??
Not when you're going 20 to 40 mph. That's a sure way to lose a vital part!!!

You said it when mentioning about wanting to put your foot down when scared...I've done it too. Yes, you could lose a vital part if it hit the ground. Things will work out just keep trying until you are not enjoying it any longer...then sell the motorcycle at that point. Look at it like this...you tried but maybe this is not in your master plan of lie. Move on to better things if not, at least you gave it a shot!
