I got a new.............

....computer!!! DH got me an IMac......and I think I am gonna love it!! I just don't know much about it but I don't think it will be hard to learn. My poor old Gateway was 8 yrs old, and about on its last leg. Now I just need to transfer pictures, music and such but I can do that any time.

If anyone else has one and can share tips, please let me know!!

I could be wrong but you should be able to copy your files onto some more cd-disk and transfer them to your new puter.  Hope that helps and congrats !

Yes...it was VERY nice.....he owed me BIG time..LOL. I will fill you in....love ya!! Gotta love those old Dinosaur Gateways!! I am gonna keep the old one for the Gson to play on when he comes to visit.

I am thrilled for you!!!!  My puter is only 1 1/2 years old and it is a piece of junk.  We have already had to have it in the shop 3 times.  I am going to go back and buy me a desk top.  I seem to have more luck with them.  You enjoy that puter now.  Love ya!!

Carmen...check out the IMacs!!! They are gorgeous.....so sleek and very dependable accoe=rding to my computer expert (oldest son...LOL). I trust his judgement completely!! Love ya too....
