Ok I know the basics of what I can and can't have and I have my surgeons instructions.... but is there anything that you can tell me that got you through this time? Besides the fact that I HAVE to do it.. was there anything speical you put into your broths.. or puddings or what not.. any secrets to make the 10 days easier? LOL

I am finishing mine up  (surg Thurs) and it does get old.  I  used the atlkins shakes in a blender with ice to make it more like a shake.  I did the broths and even drained some chicken noodle soup and that broth was better.  lots of sug free popcicles. yogurt.  sug free koolaid.  sug free jello.    I did add some Texas Pete to my broth once to change it up .
I made it  but  I  would love to eat something different.  The liquid diet does make you loose weight  but without surgery it would e hard to do that long term.
Good luck

Oh wow, I don't know if I would have made it 10 days, lol.   Chinese soups (strained of course) and any and all SF popsicles that you can stand.  There are no secrets - except lots of prayer, LOL.

Really after the 3rd day its not so bad, but just try to flavor things up if you get bored.  I got sugar free tropical popsicles and different jellos.  It'll be worth it in the end!  Oh and the vegetable broth is really quite tasty too.

HI JENNIFER, CONGRATS! ON UR UPCOMING SURGERY.  I AGREE WITH LISA, THERE IS NOTHING TO REALLY MAKE IT BETTER. I HAD TO PRAY ALOT AND TURN IN EARILY, BECAUSE AS LONG AS I WAS AWAKE I THOUGHT ABOUT FOOD.  THINK ABOUT THE NEW YOU THAT WILL APPEAR IN A FEW WEEKS.THIS IS NOT TO PUNISH YOU. IT IS TO HELP SHRINK YOUR LIVER TO MAKE SURGERY EASIER.  GOOD BLESS AND I'LL BE PRAYING FOR YOU ASWELL, VANESSA

GOD HAS BEEN SO GOOD TO ME!
