ENOUGH WITH THE BAD PM's!!!
Ditto to what everyone else said. This person undoubtedly has too much time on their hands!!!
I personally thought that your post was a sweet thing to do to let everyone know they are invited to your wedding!!!
This person is obviously a coward since they had to create a new account instead of showing their 'face'!! If they really believed what they said, they would have said it in their own name!!!
Know that I love you guys and can't wait to share the day that you make the most important vows of your life. Hang in there and don't let 'them' get you down!!!
I'll see you in September...reminds me of a song! Oops, showing my age!!
Oh Lucy, I am so sorry that some person must try to ruin this for you. I think it was sweet of you to even send out the invitations you did plus invite ALL others. I bet you this person couldn't send out a ton of invitations either. Geez. I mean ya'll have friends and family from all over and it just inst realistic to mail out the amopunt of invitations it would take. Dont you let the devil bring you down! This is going to be the happiest day of your life and the planning is part of it all! Praying for you and this person! I am trying my best to make it to ya'lls big day! For some reason I am feeling that the church is going to be way over packed with guests that want to join in on your big day!
Love Tammy
Oh my, I just had to post to this.......Whoever sent you this PM, shame on them.......But maybe there having a bad day and took it out on you...Who knows.......Just forget about it......
You know in your heart your doing the best you can......If you were a millionaire then you could send 20,000 invites.....I think it was a wonderful gesture to invite all who want to share this magical day.........Remember if you need anything I'm a phone call away.......I can't wait till the final dress fitting....I love my bridesmaids dress......And I will forever remember being a part of this most magical day.........
Love you, Kelly
Dear Lucy, I, for one, do not need a piece of paper inviting me to yours & Randall's wedding. I know that I am welcome to share your joy and that my invitation comes from the heart and not from the USPS. I know I've been a lurker lately and have missed a lot of the "goings on" but I just had to respond to you on this and say Keep your chin up sweetie! Both you & Randall deserve the joy & happiness that you bring to each other and I appreciate both of you so very much and I hope that I am able to be there to share this day with you and I know that all of your TRUE friends feel the same way I do.
xoxo
Dress, cake, guests, candles, shoes, flowers, invites, bridesmaids, groomsmen, hair, makeup, church, decorations, food, plates, napkins, fork*****h, honeymoon, stamps, thank yous, music, preacher, service, bouquets, etc, etc, etc!!! Been there, done that and that is probably just the tip of the wedding iceberg! I have yet to know a bride who has not been stressed with all that and so much more, myself included.
The last thing you need is an insulting PM from someone hiding behind a computer screen who has shown less manners to perform that act then what you are being accused. If someone wants to share Gloria Vanderbilt's Book of Etiquette with you, perhaps they should consider reading it first. Or seek therapy from past impressions of hurtful school age days that haunt them, no doubt.
The people who know you and Randall know how your heart is genuine and sincere. And they will be there in person or prayer for you on your special day. Allow yourself to laugh at this as it is not worth your time.
Love, Nanci
