Health Update!

Ok so today I went to the Russell Clinic to see a new internal doctor which is also my new family doc.  I was there 4 hours...ARGH!  Anywho, he was great, we got to know one another and he made a list of everything he knew was wrong with my from my charts (from before) then we talked about the recent stuff.  He wanted to get me back on meds that I have been off of and fix the ones I am on.  He was angry with mylocal (EX) doctor.  I came home with 5 meds and that only took care of 5 things thats wrong with me, we still have at least another 4 things to deal with but are going to wait until the first of October when I go back.  The most important things have been taken care of.  As for my abdominal pain and soarness, we are still unsure of but he THINKS it might be related to my IBS.  So One of the meds was for that plus I have to start some type of fiber pills too!  He double the amount of my glucaphage to 100mg 2x daily and might call in something else to go with it when he sees my lab results.  I fee like a darn pharmacy again!  At least I am not up to 13 pills at one time, like I was when I lived in Indiana!  He seems to think by Christmas I might can come off of some of the meds, IF I take them all correctly until then.  I still have to go back to the gyn on the 22nd to see if they have discovered why I am hurting.

l like this Dr as he acts as if he really cares and I was rather impressed with him.  After the Drs visit, I had to go do the labs, then off to visit a friend in ICU and then finally off to get meds filled.  Yikes it is already 7pm and I have not done much of anything all day!  I ahve got to run and cook something for the guys!

Here are my hours for this week but I might add that one of the other Ast. Managers, the old man, son died Sudnay from a long battle of cancer so hours might change.  Probably best to call the store before coming to see if I am there or not!  Crud the list is out in the car so I will PM you with my hours in a few along witht he store # ok!  I love ya girly and miss ya bunches!

Glad you found a Dr. you like.  It's hard to do this day and time.  Keeping you in my prayers.

Sounds like this new dr is on top of things my friend. You are in my thoughts and prayers for better health very soon!!
