I'm home!

I got back home after 1 PM CST and feel pretty good. The late night (fun pre-op yuck!) and getting up early made me really run down. I came home took some meds and napped for a little bit. DH picked up the boys from school and our friend brought Christina home. While we were visiting we heard a racket of noise to discover that a dryer caught on fire in one of the front units. We had to evacuate outside ( I grabbed the dog's collar until DH could grab her and out we went. The kids were upset and crying (we live right beside where our old building use to be) worried that we'd lose everything again. The firefighters got it taken care of quickly and the kids are ok for the moment.

Post-Op was pretty good I feel more like my abs are sore from working out. They are hurting a bit more I think from having to rush out of the apartment. So I've taken my painkillers and I'm going to lay down for a little bit.
