New pictures

I added some pictures of Bamberg Germany to my profile, if you would like to see where I am.

It is so beautiful here, I think I'll stay!! The only drawback is the water. The water is horrible!! They only have mineral water that is carbonated. It's like drinking ALKA-SELTZER.
And they dont serve tap water... so if some of you will please ship me some water, I'll be perfectly content here. Seriously, bottled water is delivered to the house in 5 gallon containers, 20 gallons at a time. We have a water cooler so I am drinking plenty of water.. but not in town. In town, I get hot tea.. pretty much any flavor my heart desires.

I've not seen a Starbucks since I left the Atlanta Airport.. but coffee is not lacking here... neither is beer. I guess you could say that Bamberg is the beer capitol  of the world. There is more beer here than anywhere else. I dont drink but I did buy a beer stein.

Anyway, it's late and time for me to hit the hay. Have a great rest of the day.

You are so right. While our internet and phone service was down, he almost went crazy wondering why I hadnt called. My daughter (that lives near me) is also ready for to come home - I babysit her kids.

We've been looking at places to go but most of the places we want to see are near Berlin, not near here. Traveling is difficult now because we dont all fit in the car. It's a big car but it only seats 5.

I need to update those pictures... they are so old.

Six grandkids!! and the oldest is only 5. I cant believe I have that many. Christmas will be so much fun.
