Men and Golf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just had to vent for a minute. What is it with men and golf? Let someone call and say play golf and they forget about any and everthing else. I am not talking about just the weekend but also 3 and 4 times a week. We were to go and look at kitchen appliances today, but he got a call about playing golf and off he went. He did ask if I wanted to go ahead and go and look, I said no that I would wait on him. Its not just playing golf but the new clubs and bag and all the other goodies you have to have to play with. Then you have to pay green fees and the use of the golf cart. I think that I am going to get even and go get me a manicure and pedicure today and let him pay for it. Think it might teach him a lesson. I doubt it. I will get off one of my several soap boxes.

Better yet, go BUY the top of the line appliances and let him foot the bill

oh let me join you on that soap box! Mine is the same way. I got a good one in on my DH a while back. He said August was going to be tight moneywise to which I replied hmmmm maybe less golf would be in order

My 12 year old son, is OBSESSED with golf....my hubby isn't...BUT...he's the one taking my son to play who drives him crazy bugging him about going to play golf.  He just started his pro golf lessons at the Robert Trent Jones place here, a week  ago, but this kid is obsessed and I mean seriously...and has been for a year...have no clue why as to I could go into a coma watching golf! LOL.  He loves Tiger Woods.  But my son really has a talent for it...no clue where the talent came from.  

my hubby took him golfing yesterday...and today was his first day back to school, he started 6th grade, and guess what he wants my hubby to do after he picks him up from school?  take him golfing!   Oh, and last night hubby took him to Dick's sporting goods to get a backpack for school, and he comes home with Tiger woods golf balls and an indoor putting green, or whatever you call it lol.

Go get that manicure and pedicure!! you deserve it!
