6 year Surgiversary TODAY!!!

What can I say???  My how time has flown when one is having FUN!!!  It's been an amazing journey to say the least.  Would I do it again....you better believe it....IN A HEARTBEAT!  I managed to lose 178 pounds and have kept it off within 5 pounds give or take the day and time.  I've gone from a HUGE 6X in clothes to a size 7 pants and a large or size 10 top.    It's NOT EASY to keep the weight off.  It's something I have to work at daily.  CONSTANTLY!!!  I continue to take my vitamins, calcium, iron and B-12 injections and I'm doing well.  Thank you all here at ObesityHelp.com for being here for me through the years.  You ALL are my support group.

I am looking forward to going to STARS of WLS tomorrow to celebrate their 5 year anniversary as a support group at Carraway in B'ham.  I am so excited to be seeing my surgeon again, even though I just saw him a few weeks ago for my 6th year check up.  It's always nice to see and connect with everyone.

I am so proud of you.  You have done awesome !!!  I can't wait to see you today at STARS.  We have so much to celebrate and be thankful for.  Not only has this surgery enabled us to lose weight and get healthly, but it has allowed us to meet others and develop some GREAT friendships.
