Spare a prayer today?  My youngest son (who is bipolar) started high school yesterday and is having some anxiety with it.  New school...bigger school, locker issues, all the "new school year" hoopla, freshman "teasing"...just lots of changes.  He doesn't do well with changes at all...he had some trouble sleeping last night because of the stress of it all.  Could you keep him in your prayers today, that it will go better today for him.  Thanks...love you all...I know I can count on you...you're the best!

Nothing tastes as good as being thinner feels.

I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.

Hi Rhonda.  For so long we ignored the issues some of our children faced in their day to day lives.  They are so very real.  I will be sure to remember your son today and not only today but for a while as he gets into his comfortable routine.  There are several of our family members who have this situation right now. They are on my daily prayer list.  My sons are grown and out of school but I have a grandson who had some problems last year.  he is now on medication so we are looking forward to a better year this year.

You got it Rhonda!  I pray he finds some good friends who will help him have more positive days.  That is always what I prayed for my daughter. Because of her weight, she was the target of teasing a lot.  In high school she met the nicest, sweetest group of girls with whom she is still friends (they have all come to visit her 2 or 3 times since her surgery).  They've been so supportive of her. This is what I hope for your son.  A few good friends can make a lot of things bearable!

Rhonda my thoughts and prayers are with you both... I know how it is to have a child going into a new school, just today, my daughter also started High School / new School and is having the same issues as well... just last night she asked if I were going in with her, I informed her that this is High School and that it's time that momma did'nt walk with you.  She was so nervous as I'm sure your son was this morning.  God Bless!

Thank you so much everybody for their prayers today.  Blake said he had a better day.  I knew he would...I handed it over to God.  He's still a little nervous/anxious...but I know that will get better each day.  Please continue to keep him in your prayers as he transitions and settles into his new routine.
