Thursday Coffee Talk
Good Thursday morning everyone! I am up WAY too early. 2:30 and I need to be asleep! HAHA! How did you sleep? I will probably go back to sleep, but I had a thought on my mind so I want to post it.
Our challenge today is to know that you are known by the company you keep. Think about this, "you are known by the company you keep". How are you known? What company do you keep? Are you keeping good company or bad company? Good friends? Right friends? The morals of this world are getting worse every day and if people would learn to keep the right friends and be persons of integrity, this world could turn it's self around. We need to realize that who we hang with (as my youth say) makes us who we are. Who are you today? Who are you keeping? Are you the keeper or the keeping? Know who you are known as today. Someone once said, show me the friends you keep and I will show you what you are. What a powerful challenge for today, but I know we can know who we are known as today and rethink things!
So, who's up? What cha sipping on this morning? Me? This early, I am enjoying a little bit of 2% milk. I am going to try to get back to sleep. Allison has school this a.m. I will have coffee in a couple of hours and I KNOW it will be some great coffee too!

Ive been up since 3:30 myself. Layed in bed til 4 and couldnt take Randys forest 'sawing' any longer. Kinda crashed out early last night so its my own fault I guess.. Oh well TODAY is going to be a great day..!!
Ironically not to long ago I had been thinking about the company I used to keep and how I miss their friendship but dont miss the partying. Without sounding judgemental, we just had different ways of 'growing' up. I do speak with a few of my 'old' friends occasionally, but its mostly of my doing. Usually send them an email letting them know I am thinking about them and hoping all is well. These days dont keep much company other than my family, work and church.. Thats ok with me..

I know what you mean about the old friends. I have a friend that I love dearly but I can't hang around him or his wife any longer. He abuses his children and I REFUSE to associate with him. He started this just all of a sudden. Makes me FURIOUS! I had to cut ties!! Church family and my family are ok with me too! Of course I have THIS family that is WONDERFUL to hang with! HEHEHEHE
I checked on Allison at 3 and she was zonked out on that nubane and phenargen. I hate it when she has a migrane. I'm sure she will be ready to go when I wake her in 30 minutes. Thanks for thinking of her!

OOOPS! LOL I figured you were working Greenville when you said neighbor. LOL I'm praying for Jessie! Love ya my friend. Have a BLESSED Thursday! My coffee will be Starbuck's blend in the coffee maker today. I just had friends call and invite me over for coffee after I take Allison to school. WOO HOO!! Be blessed!

I caught the tail end of the post regarding Allison having a migraine. Randall, I too battled one this week too. Tim's theory is it is the weather that causes my migraines...and here, we have a hurricane weather system coming in.
I have to keep Fiorcet on hand to help with my migraines...nothing else helps with mine, and I honestly got tired of going to the ER so many times/being hospitalized!!!!
I'm praying that Allison feels 100% better!
