Life is so hectic isn't it??
I know I haven't posted as much as I would have liked to here lately. But know I'm constantly lurking.. and praying for every one! I just love my OH Family!!
Thank You ALL so much for praying yesterday! God is so good and My daughter, Kathryn is healing well in the hospital and may get to go home soon!! PRAISE GOD!!
College starts very soon for her and she will be well on her way to earning her nursing degree.
My Grandmother's PET scan and Bone scan were postponed until Tuesday as the machine broke when she got there.. so keep praying her up.
My sister, Lynn sees the doctor to find out about the nodules in her lungs this week - and I am standing firm they are going to say "Nodules? what nodules?".. That's how Good GOD IS!!

We begin using the PORT today... I am a wee bit anxious about it. I have been blessed with no infection. Alot of pain, bruising and swelling but that is getting better. Today we test it with my home health nurse(and yep my Wonderful DH is learning to stick me - oh what fun!) and then I will be off to the doctor and hopefully he will make the decision the PORT is good, viable and we can dc this PICC line and take it out of my arm! I will also get the bandages off the PORT.
And maybe soon I can sleep lying down again too..

Things have been going well. I've adjusted well. I know that nothing can bind me if I don't let it.. no illness, nothing they say about my health.. because I know that "by his stripes I am healed"
I am staying positive as always and standing firm in His Will, His Promise for me!!!

And of course I am looking forward to the cruise, my first cruise,  seeing everyone again.
How blessed I really am.. I'm clinching every penny but it's going to be one awesome trip.
And I have heard so many special people are going.. And I get to see Kelly1 again who just hit 100lb mark gone FOREVER.. I might not recognize her come January

The boys start school Monday.. Friday is meet the teacher day. Jacob will be in 6th and Gerry will be in 10th.. they grow up way too fast.
I can tell summer is almost over - tourist traffic is dwendling and Wal-Mart lines are down
Coffee tastes good again!! WOOHOO!! And I'm enjoying it as much as I possibly can.

So.. how are things in your neck of the woods??
Hectic too I bet!

WHEW!  I just had to take a breath!  You are like me Sister!  You have a lot going on.  I'm praying for you and STANDING FIRM IN FAITH with you that you are healed!  No weapon formed against you shall prosper!  Why are you having a port and PIC line?  I missed something.  I'm sorry.  I'm also praying for your daughter and your Grandmother.  God is a faithful God!

I'm so glad you are going on the cruise.  You need it and you deserve it!  You'll LOVE it.  Lucy and I hope to be able to go also.  This one is so close to our weddiing though.  We are praying about it.  It'd be fun being with all of you.

Allison starts a new school tomorrow.  She is going to Brantley HS.  It is 8 miles from Luverne.  I'll have to drive her every day untill she gets her license.  LOL  I'm always up at that time, but don't always get out.  Guess I will be now though.  HAHA!  I know you are proud of Gerry and Jacob.  They are growing so fast.  I'm praying for our youth in America.  They are facing some of the worst times in their lives.  The devil is out to destroy them with every thing he can.  Sex, drugs, alcohol, you name it.  They are exposed to everything now days.

I'm so glad coffee is good to you once again.  I couldn't imagine not having my coffee!  Good to have you back on board!

Love you my friend!  Take care, stand firm and REST!

Hey Julie..  i like Randall must have missed something on why you have the feeding tube and pic line?   Is Gerry going to regular school? or being home schooled?     Jeremy is still in alternative school, will be till January..  yes Randall is right, these days kids are exposed to alot that i never was and never have been, maybe i lived a sheltered life.. but sometimes that is a good thing i guess.   I was never tempted to do drugs and stuff cause i was never around it.

I am glad to see things are going better for you..  i will be praying for all your family members.

  Love Ya girl !

I still have some health issues and with the vomiting and clotting issues they decided a PORT was the best option.

Gerry is trying to go to Public High School. We got all the paperwork in this last week and meet with the counselor tommorrow. He has had some testing and they are trying to determine how many credits he got this past year. If I need to we will homeschool again this year.
But only if he has problems in the school year this year. Sometimes he needs one on one instruction.

Love you too, Tammy!!

I know Allison must be sooooooooo excited!!!
They do grow up fast.

I pray you and Lucy can go on the cruise... you are just becoming a pro at cruising huh?? lol
I know it will be hard with the wedding approaching but I know GOD can do anything and he answers prayers and blesses us in ways we never dreamed!!

Thank you for standing in faith with me!
I have the PICC line due to more vomiting. So they decided to put in a PORT and just leave it in.
Every time I get sick then I have to have fluids and be stuck.. and with the clotting issues they decided the PORT was the best option. I had gotten so many clots in the superficial veins in my arms and while there is alot they would have to do to travel to my heart and lungs (like a 1% chance) they are still painful and make the veins none useable.
And while I was at risk for a clot in the PORT they felt that since I had not had any clots in the subclavian vein the chance was one they were willing to take.. however they decided that my health was not good the morning of the PORT and they could not sedate me. I thought I was going to die. But GOD was my ROCK and I made it through. Without him I know I would not be here.

I can't wait until September!! It is going to be so good to see you again!!
I do hope I get to see Lucy while she is here visiting this month!!!

Love you!

Praying for you and your family Julie.  So your husband is learning to stick you.  My husaband would just die.  I would have to teach my son.  My husband breaks out into a sweat when you just talk about a needle and passes out when he sees it.  He had a bad experience as a child.

I am around if you need me.
I had a somnoplasty on my nose(helps breathing) and  now I am having cold symptome, so I am going to the doc today to  see if it is a cold or side effects from the procedure, I want to see my new grandbaby this weekend, but if I am contagious, I won't be able to. She is 3 weeks old today!
