Montgomery LUNCH and Lucy Visit

It has been a while since we have met so we are going to have a LUNCH!  And guess what?  It will be while Lucy is here.  I know I am posting this early, but I wanted to so you can mark your calendars now.  We will be meeting August 23rd at 11 a.m. Sorry that it is so early, but the church and my family have something special planned for us that afternoon/evening.  We hope you all can join us!  Here is the info!  We are meeting at:

I would love to meet up with you guys and meet Lucy---but I don't think it will happen.

I have spent a lot of time lately stressing over credit card debt and wanting to pay off everything. I have been working hard towards that goal but seems the more I pay....the more I owe.

I have a plan....my car will be paid off in about 10 payments and until them--I think I am going to find me a part time job working weekends. I have been thinking about this for a while now and I need to do it for my own peace of mind! I know working SEVEN days a week will be hard and tiring, but I can do it now and be debt free----hopefully in less than a year, or I can put it off and just keep stressing over the money situations in life.

On a positive note--I sent out a couple of resumes yesterday (by fax) and got a call today. Sounds very promising and would allow me the weekend hours that I want. Actually, they called and asked if I would consider full time, but it is no more money than where I am now so I would prefer to stay where I am and to use this as a possible source for extra income. They are supposed to call me back in the next couple of days to set up an interview.

So---if you have a prayer to spare, please say one for me. I know I am not getting any younger and I know if I am ever going to to this, now is the time. I won't always be able to work two jobs and if I can, I want to do it now!

Carolyn, your are in my prayers.  I understand the stress you are speaking of and have been there myself a while ago.  I have also been thinking of taking on a little job on the side, but only because my home is so ful now .  It would give me a break.  Seriously, you take care of yourself and I am praying that God will place what is perfect for you in your life.

You won't believe this, but we talked about you while I was in Minnesota!  Lucy said she would love to see you and talk.  Take care and maybe we can see you, Teddy, and the boys SOON!

sure wish I could be there but I will be seeing you and Lucy in September.  Have fun my friends.

I wish we could Randall but Leo and I will actually be on our way home from South Carolina in the BIG truck (18 wheeler). If there is any way at all that we can be there, I'll let you know.

I won't be able to make it. The 23rd is my Granny's 89th birthday and the family takes her out every year for lunch and then we spend the afternoon together. If it were any other day, you know I would be there.
