Nikki22 Update! It's all good!

My DD had her surgery around 10:30 this morning. She did really well. Dr. Mailapur went on and on about how well she had done on her pre-op diet. He said her liver looked totally normal including size. We got into a room around 3 (Room 438 at HH)and she got up her first time at about 4:30. Except for fighting off a bout of nausea where she had to sit down a mintue, she did great! She said she HAD to get the gas out and was bound and determined to keep walking!

Thanks everybody for your prayers (keep em' coming). I know I missed a couple of calls (I forgot to turn the ringer back up on my phone). I also would have updated earlier, but Bill had to take the car for a bit and my laptop was in the trunk!

Surgery date: Aug. 28, 2008. Start weight 489 - Current weight on March 29th 2009 368 - Goal weight 180
Have lost 145 pounds so far.
