Please keep me in your prayers this week
As many of you know I had to medically retire as a staff manager for an insurance company after a traffic accident several years ago. As part of my retirement I retained my license. BUT now a "kinker" has come into the picture. I worked/retired in Alabama but now live back in my home state of Georgia. My company was notified that I must now follow the laws of Georgia concerning my licensure. This means that I now must actively work 1 week a year in order to maintain my license even though I am on full disability. I have not worked in sales for a LONG time so this week I have to actually WRITE a minimum of 5 policies.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, I know I can do it but I am way out of practice. Please keep me in your prayers as I will be riding with another agent that I am not overly thrilled with as our methods are totally different.

I'll be praying for you Gwen. Thank goodness they are at least giving you this option to keep your license. I'll be praying that you will get those policies written up in record time and that the agent you'll be working with will not ruffle your feathers. It may turn out to be a fun time!!! Well, at least tolerable!!!!

Thanks to all of you my prayers were answered. I do not have to work for the insurance company again until next year. I hit "the motherload" today. My riding partner decided he wanted to take a couple hours for lunch. I told him to do as he pleased and I would carry on without him. I went to a new business that was preparing to open in about a week. I presented a plan to them and now have a definite YES in WRITING to supply life insurance to their employees. They will employ 20 people to start and will add on as necessary. I may be rusty but I ain't ready for the junkyard yet
