SONday Coffee Anyone?
Good SONday morning everyone! We are in Padduka, KY. We drove until 10:30 last night and I just had to rest. We are over 1/2 way. Let me tell you something! Illinois is ONE HUGE AND LONG STATE! LOL I'm glad I stopped here though. Torey has been sick all night and is throwing up. Not sure why, but he is. Keep him in your prayers. We are headed out in about an hour and will drive home. Needless to say, we will not make it to church this a.m. Oh well. I love them all, but this IS vacation. I just hate not to play the piano for them.
What cha sippin' on this morning? Me? I've not had anything yet. I'm going to get ready and head to the morning buffet here and fill up on their good coffee.

Keeping you all in my prayers...especially Torey! I know your young man has GOT to be miserable. Special prayers will be said for him today.
If you don't mind, please say a prayer for Tim too? He had a piece of debride from the yard to hit him in the right eye yesterday. I took him to the urgent care here, and he has a scratch to his eye. This scratch is making him miserable. He tossed and turned...and it has caused him more pain. They gave him pain med (p.o.), but he said it doesn't phase it. The only time it has let up is when they gave the pain med eyedrops which is illegal for her to prescribe to him due to potential toxicity. He also has eyedrop antibiotics too.
He's sleeping like a baby after I gave him some Phenylgesic...it only took one pill and he was out like a light.

I know how you feel. My Dh has a very bad gout flair up for over 2 weeks he has been laid up. He is in pain and it is just about driving him nuts trying to sit still. Hopefully these new meds will kick in soon and he will get back to normal. Now I just have to get him on a better gout diet. I thought we had it down pretty good but appears I have more research to do
