My son's ex gf is in so much trouble. She is only 17, and drinking and partying every night. We heard the other night she got so sick she nearly died. Even though she hurt my son so much we still love her. I did try calling her mom but got no answer. We don't want to see anything bad happen to her. This has sent my son into another bought of depression. He fels like he should save her, but he can't. I tried to explain that some folks don't want to be saved. They are on self destruct. Please, her name is Mel and she was like family to me.

I sure will pray for her and for K. 

Oh my, Renee.........kids can make so many bad decisions!! I hope your DS and Mel can work through this situation. At their young age, things always seem so dramatic even though we know things usually work out alright. It is hard for them to see that. You are all in my thoughts.

My son's ex did pretty much the same and she eventually calmed down (well, if you call getting pregnant calming down...lol).  She's doing better now that she's a mom and has responsibilities.  I will pray for your son't ex gf and hope that she finds a better path to follow.  The one she is going down now leads nowhere good.

Will be praying for her.  She spent so many years with your family, it IS understandable why you feel as if she is family. 

I hope Mel learned a lesson from her experience with the drinking. Sometimes all you can do is pray that they turn around and let them know you are there for them.
