$150 appointment to make more appointments??
I went to meet with Dr Facundus' office today and paid $150 thinking I would have some questions answered or something, the only thing that happened at the appointment is they got my family history and asked told me how much I pay at my next appointments.
Im so annoyed that I had to pay that much money for a receptionist to make more appointments!! Is this normal?!?!?!
what should i expect in my next appointments i meet with a nutrionist ($175) and then i finally meet with the dr ($225) **luckily i get that back "if" i am approved. (from what im told)

Wow! I think I would be a bit annoyed too. Fortunately I got an info packet in the mail from my surgeon and mailed family history, etc back to them with a deposit. Once they recieved it I got an appointment with the surgeon to have my questions answered and such. A one on one appt with the surgeon. They really need to change the way they are doing things.
Let me give you a little word of advice on Dr. Formans office. I have to see him once each year. Last year I made three appointments before I saw him. One they called and canceled. Number two I showed up and he was out of town. Finally I saw him. I made my appointment for this years visit. August 1 at 1:15. My regular doctors office is in the same building and I was there Tuesday. So I stopped by Dr. Foremans office to make sure of the appointment. They looked it up on the computer and told me yes it's August 1. Wrote me out a little card and I said I'll see see ya'll Friday. When I got home I had a call from them. They forgot Dr. Foreman will be out of town Friday. I need to call them back and make another appointment. So I guess I'm lucky that I reminded them or I don't think they would have bothered letting me know this time either. It is hard to see him after he has your money and does your surgery. Also don't expect any chit chat. He's in and out as fast as posible. And don't expect him to shake your hand. He won't touch you if he doesn't have to. He's a good surgeon but his follow up care for his patients in my opinion is sadly lacking. Good luck and I hope your appointments go okay. Love, Miss Mary
WOW! i'm sorry you've had such bad experiences with them. personally, i've had nothing but good things happen with my interactions with BOTH dr's facundus AND foreman. now the office staff on the other hand (nurses) now that's another story entirely. but dr. facundus always shakes my hand first thing when he sees me and so does dr. foreman i guess i got a little closer to them than most patients do though because i had a perforated ulcer at 26 days out and had to have emergency surgery to repair it and was in the hospital for two weeks after that for recovery (during christmas AND new year's) so they got to know me REAL well
My first appointment with my wonderful Dr. DeWitt as very informative, had my questions answered and new exaclty what I had to do from that point forward and about how long it would take to get it all done. He and his staff are wonderful!!!! Very informative and helpful, always willing to listen. Can you tell I love these folks!?!

im going to pay it regardless, was just having a little fussing session! the funny thing was, the girl that was supposed to "answer all my questions" had 90% of her answers go like this..."you will have to ask......(input surgen/nurse/insurance/etc. here) kinda silly....
anyone wanna tell me how to do a signature on here??
